Mai Korin: Auckland, New Zealand; Photography has always been my passion. I began my journey as an Art director and a commercial photographer in the advertising world, but becoming a mother completely changed my life. There were so many things that I wanted to preserve forever. Tiny toes. Tiny fingers. Sweet giggles. Silly faces. I found myself constantly reaching for my camera, trying to capture every special moment. And, that’s how it all began… As a portrait photographer, I now have the joy of creating beautiful art that reflects each family’s unique story – complete with bare feet, belly laughs, and a dash of whimsy. I love to capture genuine emotions and personalities. I love to get creative with natural window lights. Its clean, simple and organic. Most of all, I love to present those perfect moments as heirloom pieces that will be cherished for a lifetime.
